Also a documentary, Forks Over Knives goes through all of the healthy benefits to switching to a whole food plant based diet. Be sure to check out their beginner’s guide to getting started on your new lifestyle and their health topics guide, which talks about the benefits of whole food plant based living including things like arthritis, cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Look for cooking instruction and recipes too! I strongly suggest checking out their documentary. You can stream the documentary online for free here.

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

Founded in 1985, The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is a nonprofit organization that promotes preventive medicine, conducts clinical research, and encourages higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in research. A good medical resource for wellness. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is ideal for anyone who is trying to change their health to the good for good. On their website, you can learn more about carbohydrates, fiber, omega-3’s, protein, cholesterol, soy, dairy, eggs, and more. Make sure to set aside plenty of time to go through all of these, your health may depend on it. Check out their 21 day vegan kickstart program that is downloadable on your phone. It comes with resources like recipes and shopping lists. You’ll also find recipes and other good nutrition and health topics. Find new ways to help yourself through plant based nutrition.
